Official Rules (in form of FAQ)

Post  Mitch Shredder on Thu Jul 02, 2009 4:29 am

This title is not an official TWG title, like the NWR Championship or World Heavyweight Championship. It is a title to be RPed for in matches and battle royals. Here is a FAQ for this title.

How do I get a match for this title? After the current champion is announced on the show, the first to PM me a TWG match with the champion will get the title shot this week. All PMs must be on this forum. Because of this, only wrestlers within a +2/-2 range of the champion's TWG level may challenge in one on one matches. This title is crossbrand, and matches will appear on alternating shows, once a week. Members of both rosters can compete in these matches. They are not official TWG matches. Holders of other titles cannot have one of these matches, and neither can benched people and people who have already challenged once this season.

If I do get the match, how does it work? Once you get the match, I will inform you via PM and open a thread in the Matches section of this category, titled "[Champion] vs. [Challenger]". The champion starts first, and he writes three actions. For example, the champion could perform a clothesline, get out of the ring, and grab a steel chair. He is now done, and the challenger will write his three actions. Once you get to sixty actions, the match is over. You will each PM me a finishing sequence starting in the position the sixty actions ended in, consisting of three moves. I will decide which to use based on who stayed within their character and generally RPed well in the match, and use that person's finishing sequence on the show, and they will win the title.

What are the battle royals? For the people who are of low/high level and can't ever seem to fight the champ one on one, there will be a 10-man hardcore battle royal for the title at every PPV.

How do I qualify for one? I will start a thread sometime after the third and final title match of the season titled "[PPV name] Hardcore Battle Royal Qualifiying". The first 9 people to respond to the post will qualify. The only ineligible people are those who are benched, those who had a one on one title match this season, and those who have another title in the fed already.

How do these matches work? After we have 10 competitors, I will open a thread in the Battle Royals section titled "[PPV name] Battle Royal". The champion starts first once again. He will perform two actions on people qualified for the battle royal (they will be listed in the my first post in the thread) and then start an elimination struggle with someone (this is mandatory). These posts must be made official by myself or a VGM. If the post is made official before anyone else posts, the target of the elimination struggle is eliminated. If the target posts a reversal before the post is validated, the person who started the struggle will be eliminated. Alternatively, if the person can't reverse himself for some reason, he can be saved by another battle royal participant posts a breakup of the struggle before the post is validated. In this case, noone is eliminated. The battle royal carries on like this, going in order of the list I made in a loop until there is only one man or woman remaining. That person is the hardcore champion.
